Note: The CD-1 is no longer available. All manufacturers are shifting their high-end CD transport business to produce DVD transports. While they continue to build low-cost CD transports, the market for high-quality CD transports can't compare to the market for DVD based drives.

We certainly don't plan to abandon the CD market. However, we need time to complete other projects prior to coming up with a new CD solution.

One solution that my other company, NorhTec is working on is a silent PC. Our Silent PC has a digital out so that it can be used for a variety of home entertainment solutions. We are also exploring the possibility of a DAC. However, we don't have an immediate replacement product.

The Product:
