Le Amp II is built in the same way that the most expensive solid state amplifiers are built.

Few years back, we released the Norh Le Amp. Our product philosophy was straight forward and arrogant. Le Amp was designed to humiliate the audio industry. Our aim was to allow even budget minded audiophiles and videophiles to enjoy sound that used to be available to only the exclusive few who could afford to spend thousands of dollars for amplification. This product clearly demonstrated that some audio companies were ripping off their customers.

Le Amp II continues on that tradition. While keeping it at the same price level of $300, we are introducing a more powerful product, rated at 200 watts. It is designed to meet the very demanding needs of audiophiles, and the professional features makes commercial applications possible. We are infamous for putting the audio industry to shame, and we will continue to do so with this outrageous statement:

"Norh encourages individuals to compare this product with any amplifier, at any price level"

Although you may be deceived by the price, we are talking about very high end territory here.

The Product

Le Amp II is a solid state monoblock amplifier rated at 200 watts. Being a monoblock, each unit provides dedicated amplification to a single channel. This design provides significant advantages over regular multichannel design. Since the power supply and amplification circuit is completely dedicated for each channel, you get excellent sonic quality and headroom till the rated power of 200 watts. Multichannel amplifiers often are unable to provide full output to all channels to once.

Monoblocks are also very flexible in terms of upgrades. For stereo operations, you will need two units (one for left channel, the other for right). In the future, if you want add more channels later, simply install additional units. You can painlessly upgrade from stereo to 5.1 to 6.1 to 7.1.
